Dark clothes, gem-stone ring
Brown-green eyes, mood, earth
Intensity! Beauty! Lights!
Music is not only music but fantasy
The set is piled over
“insert clever line”
Or so the script-man says
Poets with guitars must be articulate
The blue jeans must be tight
Designer label please and a little worn
But dragons wheel, screeching overhead
(even if only in CGI)
The mighty are the entertainers
But the mightier the photographers
The man with the four thousand dollar camera
The woman with the airbrush
Music is not only music but fantasy
And poets must be pleasing
More to the eye than to the ear
Most of all to the consumer

An epic is only true if Everyman understands
The dragons only real if expensive,
If pasted on by men in armchairs
